He Went Diving In A Remote Jungle Lake. What He Found Beneath The Surface Chilled Me To The Bone.

Jellyfish Lake in Palau is one of the world's most amazing places, and this footage totally proves it. Earlier this month, a diver shot this footage while he was snorkeling in Jellyfish Lake - this variety of jellyfish has a mild sting that is basically undetectable on human skin, making it possible for the diver to swim freely through the masses. The lake is chockfull of the gorgeous jellyfish: In fact, this small body of water is said to have at least 13 million golden jellyfish swimming through its brine.

The diver caught this footage when the jellyfish were migrating from the east side of the lake to the west, which causes the fish to engage in a flurry of activity. The resulting footage is totally mesmerizing.
