Ultra High Definition Video of Earth From Space Is So Beautiful It'll Change Your Perspective

Earlier this year, NASA astronaut Jeff Williams captured ultra high definition 2K video of our pale blue dot from the vantage point of the International Space Station. It’s probably the most uplifting and inspiring thing you’ll see today.

In this newly released video, Williams talks about what it’s actually like to gaze upon the Earth when in space, and why it’s important to share this unique perspective with others.

It’s been said many times that a person’s perspective on life, the universe, and everything changes after seeing our planet floating in space. Though this video isn’t a shot from the moon, I find this quote by former NASA astronaut Edgar D. Mitchell to be quite fitting for this video:

“You develop an instant global consciousness, a people orientation, an intense dissatisfaction with the state of the world, and a compulsion to do something about it. From out there on the moon, international politics look so petty. You want to grab a politician by the scruff of the neck and drag him a quarter of a million miles out and say, ‘Look at that, you son of a bitch.” ― Edgar D. Mitchell

NASA has made these video files available for download, which you can access by clicking here.

  1. The Craps desk could seem intimidating at first, but when you get into it it’s not a tough recreation to play. In Craps you do need to deal with other gamers, but in precept, you do not play against one another. It’s more about estimating what the other gamers are throwing the cube. And that is after all still a recreation of probability, which doesn't necessarily need to do with 1xbet korea the person who|the one that|the one who} throws it. It is very a really enjoyable recreation since you play it together.
