As a kid I could see the greatest sunsets from the dinning room window positioned at the front of our southern California home. Peering over the back of the couch pushed up against the wall-size window, my dad would point out the finer points of a sunset while we watched it disappear to the other side of the world. I have always loved watching a good sunset, and who doesn’t?
The sun rises and falls with each passing day, but in the hustle and bustle of life we often take the gorgeous event for granted, forgetting all together to take the time and watch the magic of nature unravel. If you have never visited the Santa Monica Pier in California you are truly missing out. A stroll along the peer, and the adjoining beach, always proves entertaining. Not only is there plenty of people watching to do, but there are carnival rides, cotton candy, and endless waves of ocean to admire beyond the pier.
