For most people, the idea of having a vacation in a mall seems fishy: How much fun can you really have inside a Yankee Candle? But at West Edmonton Mall in Edmonton, Canada, there are over 800 stores and attractions to see - and it's not all shopping, either.
The mall has the world's largest indoor wave pool (that also includes a section for surfing), 24 roller coasters and thrill rides, an aquarium, and a bunch of themed hotel rooms that aim to make even your downtime exciting. The mall also holds tons of events, including free concerts, mass yoga classes, and fashion shows.
At it's core, West Edmonton Mall is like an insane, over-the-top, indoor-overstimulation kingdom that blows your local mall's hyped-up food court out of the water.
